Centrally located right next to Trafalgar Square is the Silver Cross Pub. Large rooms on the ground floor and during high activity also additional tables in the basement offer ample space for larger groups.
The bar has a good selection of different beers, including local London produce. I tried the Pale Ale and the Indian Pale Ale. Both highly recommended. As is common in England, the focus is among the high-percentage drinks is on the gin. Nevertheless, there is also a small but fine whisky selection here.
The bar meals are highly recommended. Great fish and chips in different variations. Served with a nice smile, while all orders are to be placed ato the bar. Self-service for all drinks is announced – as usual in England.
