Today I made a great train journey: With the historic Rheingold Express from Cologne along the river Rhine to Mainz and back on the other side of the Rhine.
During the trip there was a super delicious five-course meal, prepared by Klaus Kremer, the chef of the Queen Mary II.
Of course, not only the great train, with its dining car from 1928 and the observation car from the 1970s, is an experience, but also the many great views that you have during this journey through the beautiful Middle Rhine Valley.
